Jimmy Carter: I'll mediate between Hamas & Fatah

Hmm, let me see, that's akin to a leading an extreme Democrat asking to mediate between Iran & Syria to get them to stop causing trouble in Iraq. It doesn't suit any of their purposes. In this case, it only serve's Carter's continued desire for publicity, despite what an increasingly embarassing figure he's coming to the wider public (many of whom before actually supported the evil creep).

As Washington continues a policy of isolating the Palestinian terrorist organization Hamas, former President Jimmy Carter reportedly has offered to mediate between Hamas and rival Palestinian faction, Fatah.

The Palestinian News Agency Ma'an reported that Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh met with Scott Custer, West Bank director of the Carter Center, in Haniyeh's Gaza Strip office. Custer told Haniyeh that Carter, a Democrat, was willing to mediate between the factions. Haniyeh okayed Carter's offer, the report said....

...Carter's willingness to deal with Hamas appears to fly in the face of official U.S. policy.

After Hamas won the January 2006 elections, the U.S. cut aid to the Palestinian Authority (P.A.) over the faction's refusal to recognize Israel, renounce violence, and abide by previous Israeli-Palestinian agreements. Amid bloody factional violence, Hamas last month seized power in the Gaza Strip.

US acts against groups aiding Hezbollah

Some movement from the Bush administration. Funny, it always seems to come from the financial side of things...god forbid they actually try to do something overtly & directly against the mullahs and for the Iranian people...

The Bush administration took action Tuesday against an Iran-based foundation, including its U.S. branch, for allegedly providing support to Hezbollah, a terrorist group the United States has blamed for bloodshed in the Middle East.

The Treasury Department's action covers the Martyrs Foundation and Goodwill Charitable Organization of Dearborn, Mich., which the government identified as a fundraising office for the foundation.

"We will not allow organizations that support terrorism to raise money in the United States," said Stuart Levey, the Treasury Department's under secretary for terrorism and financial intelligence.

The government also moved against al-Qard al-Hassan, a Beirut firm that the U.S. government believes was used by Hezbollah "as a cover to manage its financial activity."

Two Lebanese people - Qasem Aliq and Ahmad al-Shami - also were covered by Tuesday's order.

92% of Iranians oppose current regime...

...says another survey. That must be pretty close to the truth. It also says that "many would endorse 'Velvet Revolution' or even foreign military intervention."

Read more about the survey here. WND has the scoop:

A new survey reveals that 92 percent of the subjects of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's totalitarian government do not believe their nation's role is positive, and two-thirds would support a "Velvet Revolution" to remove him from power.

The survey, by the Center For the Promotion of Democracy and Human Rights, found that almost six out of 10 Iranians would support a foreign military action for the purpose of taking Ahmadinejad out of the role as dictator.

"There is clearly a huge distinction between the Islamic Republic of Iran and its intentions as a regime and its people," reported Said Jabbari, a senior analyst with the center.

"As a totalitarian regime it does not represent the aspirations of the Iranian people," he said. "Don't use 'Iran' and 'this regime' to represent each other."

London is more Islamist than Egypt?

Very interesting video post from the brilliant resource of MEMRI. A London Islamist vs. a liberal in Egypt. Worth a watch.

The man from Egypt has some great points. I found it particularly interesting to hear his comments at about 5:05 (minutes:seconds) through the program, when he says that people in the Middle East are the prey of two groups - ruling families and Islamist dictators.

Also makes you wonder how many more extremists like this a-hole there are based in the UK...

Galloway booted out

Thank goodness for that. And, in the words of Ali G, 'Respect...'

The 'beloved' Guardian has the news. Some earlier video footage can be found here.

George Galloway was ejected from the Commons chamber on top of his suspension from parliament last night.

The Respect MP had expected the 18-day expulsion after the standards and privileges committee last week criticised him over the transparency of his charity, the Mariam Appeal.

But, while defending himself in the chamber last night, Mr Galloway was ejected by the Speaker, Michael Martin, after repeatedly criticising the committee and its members.

The outspoken anti-war MP had been talking for more than an hour as he sought to defend himself against a motion to suspend him.

In case you didn't read it, this post on Fouladvand is attracting lots of attention, but no comments!

Strange, eh? I am re-posting it here fyi.

Where is Fouladvand? And why is no one reporting his absence?

Dr. Froud Fouladvand is missing, and has been for a long time now. His own TV station has now admitted that they do not where he is or what has happened to him. There are many rumors circulating, but nobody knows for sure.

Whatever one think about his tactics and strategy, he was one of the few people on TV trying to make a real difference through his programs - illuminating many of the realities behind Islam and trying (in his own way) to fight against the mullahs.

The amazing thing is that not one of the other Iranian satellite TV stations has mentioned it. Could it be that they are too jealous of him, because he was/is 'real', and they just want to take his audience share now? Are they really that callous and corrupt?

Many readers will recall that he was arrested at his home in North London in June 2005 under the guise of being a 'terrorist' and his house was trashed. Obviously MI5 wanted to seriously warn him to tone down his activities, or something along those lines.

So what has happened to him now? Have they silenced him for good?

Some rumors say that he may have been caught in fire while en route from Turkey to Iran, or that he may have been caught by the mullahs as he was trying to gain entrance to Iran. God only knows what they would do to them if they got their hands on him. Let's hope the worst is not true, and that he returns home safely, and soon.

If you have any information about his whereabouts, please let me know.

Thanks,

Another Israeli has it right

Here's what Meridor said:

Israel's ambassador to the United States, Sallai Meridor, said Wednesday that Israel and the free world are under attack by Iran, with a combination of fanaticism, terrorism and nuclear capability posing the most serious threat since the 1930s.

"We must prevent this nightmare," Meridor said at the "Night to Honor Israel" event, part of the second annual Christians United for Israel summit in Washington, D.C. "The world must act and act now."

Meridor said Israel would take any steps necessary to ensure that Iran does not develop a nuclear bomb. "All options are on the table, and no matter what, they will not be able to get a nuclear weapon," he said.

UK: Iran supplying arms to the Taliban

Well there's a shocker! Surprised the mullah-enablers even mentioned it.

"We have successfully interdicted the transfer of arms across the Iranian border into the southern part of Afghanistan. To my knowledge, on at least two occasions—perhaps even more—we have identified markings on weaponry that suggest that it had its origins in Iran," British Defence Secretary Des Browne told Parliament.

Browne said that the international community ought to make it clear to the Iranians that their actions in Afghanistan were "unacceptable".

You can wear a burka to school in the UK, but not a ring

What a joke. I'm sure al-BBC, Europe's leading sponsor of Islam (with possibly the exception of Al Jazeera), wasn't to upset to publish the news. It is indeed a mad world.

A 16-year-old girl was not discriminated against when she was banned from wearing a "purity ring" in school, the High Court has ruled.

Lydia Playfoot was told by Millais School in Horsham, West Sussex, to remove her ring - which symbolises chastity - or face expulsion.

The school had denied breaching her human rights and said it was "delighted" with the outcome....Miss Playfoot said she should be allowed to wear the ring because Sikh and Muslim pupils could wear bangles and headscarves in class....

..."Over two years ago, I was concerned at the number of teenagers who were catching sexually transmitted diseases, getting pregnant and/or having abortions," she said.

"The government's sex education programme is not working and the pressure on young people to 'give in' to sex continues to increase.

"This is often because of the media's focus on sex and the expectations of others."

Good news: Brits give laptop to imprisoned cyberjihadi

Pretty hard to believe...if it didn't happen in England, that is. Hot Air reports:

He and his two cybercronies pleaded guilty last week to inciting murder over the Internet. They found 37,000 stolen credit card numbers in his apartment harvested from viruses and phish e-mails and estimate that he and his pals racked up $3.5 million in fraudulent charges used to buy supplies for the jihad. Money was laundered through online gambling sites. They also were known to hack into sites and use their bandwidth to host jihadi videos, and on one of their computers the cops found “short video clips of the U.S. Capitol grounds, the World Bank building, a hazardous chemical response vehicle and local fuel storage facilities. Also on the laptop were instant message chat logs and a PowerPoint presentation detailing how to build a car bomb.” It was a sophisticated, potentially lethal operation.

So naturally the cops gave one of them a laptop while they were awaiting trial. What could go wrong?

Imam accused in JFK plot wanted help from Iran

Gee, well there's a surprise. Any major terrorist attach aimed at the US and associated with Islam that is well organized most likely stems back to the mullahs in Iran in some way or form...the NY Post has the story.

A Shiite imam accused of plotting to blow up fuel tanks at John F. Kennedy International Airport wanted to seek Iranian backing for the terrorist plot.
The disclosure came yesterday in a court decision denying bail to the Trinidadian-based cleric,
Kareem Ibrahim.

Mr. Ibrahim, 62, is one of four men arrested last month on charges connected to the plot. At the time, American law enforcement officials said Mr. Ibrahim encouraged his co-conspirators to seek funding for the attack from outside their home countries of Trinidad or Guyana. While American authorities have not provided more details, a judge in Trinidad wrote that evidence, including tape recordings, suggests Mr. Ibrahim intended to seek backing for the plot from individuals in Iran or Britain.

In those recordings, Judge Prakash Moosai wrote, Mr. Ibrahim "refers to an ‘Iranian brother' passing through Trinidad and Tobago, and of sending a ‘trusted brother' to Iran to speak to the top men of the revolutionary movement there about the plan." The judge's decision does not clarify whether "the revolutionary movement there" refers to the government of the Islamic Republic. Nor does Judge Moosai state whether the plotters actually disclosed the plan to contacts in Iran or simply considered doing so. Mr. Ibrahim also spoke of contacting "brothers in England," the decision said.

Mr. Ibrahim's alleged efforts to find foreign backing mark the second Iran connection to surface in a case that initially appeared confined to the Western Hemisphere. At the time of his arrest, another of the defendants, Abdul Kadir of Guyana, was preparing to travel to Iran to attend an Islamic conference, according to news reports. Two of Mr. Kadir's children were studying in Iran at the time of his arrest, according to reports.

Islamic Bicycles, by the Islamic Republic of Iran (Part Deux)

This is a follow-up article to a piece I commented on previously. Just another example of how ridiculous the mullahcracy was, is and will continue to be until it is destroyed.

The Islamic Republic of Iran has devised an "Islamic bicycle." This new vehicle comes fully equipped with a cabin to conceal parts of a female cyclist's body.

The new technology is less about the bike and more about suppressing women. Iran, unlike Saudi Arabia, allows women to drive cars. In fact, Iran's top race car driver, Laleh Seddigh, is a woman. Women also ride motorcycles, although they must be accompanied by a man (and must sit behind him).

But Iran forbids women from riding bicycles (thus, the newly designed bike). The belief is that sexuality is easily stimulated in both sexes. The country's supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, announced in 1999 that "women must avoid anything that attracts strangers, so riding bicycles or motorcycles by women in public places causes corruption and is thus forbidden."

Abu Hamza complains of human rights abuse because of gay prison caretaker

Now that's rich.

What a hypocrite.

Hope he rots in there...with his hook up his ar*e. Allahpundit is there again.

The cleric is claiming it is against his religion and human rights to be treated by a homosexual. The source said Hamza’s solicitor wrote to the governor demanding his client is given a new regular nurse.

The prison service refused saying it does not discriminate on grounds of sexuality.
The source said: “The nurse is upset about it. He has spent the last couple of years doing everything for Hamza, even wiping his bottom.

“It shows how little respect Hamza has for others. The nurse dresses him, washes him, cleans his teeth, cuts his toenails, trims his beard and applies ointment for his skin disorder.”

Who do they want to kill now - well everyone really...

Iran wages war on 'immoral' cell phone messages

I thought I saw an article about this weeks ago, but maybe it was just inspired foresight for something that would obviously eventually happen under the mullahs (?). Fox News has the story.

Iran’s state telecommunications company is offering rewards to citizens who turn in their neighbors for sending or receiving “immoral” messages on their cell phones, according to a report in The News International.

"There are rewards for those who report senders of immoral multimedia messages to the judiciary," Vafa Ghaffarain, head of Iran's telecommunications company, was quoted as saying.

British school district recommends 'burkinis' for Muslims taking swimming lessons

Now I've heard it all (for this week in England...). Next week they'll be saying nurses should wear burkafied outfits. Oh wait, they already did! Ree dick you luss! But that's not all...

Ealing has also put forward a string of other proposals to help schools meet the needs of Muslim pupils, including setting aside designated “quiet” areas for prayer and honouring “a parent’s written request to take their child to the mosque for part of the afternoon”.

Schools are also told that it is “good practice” to “reassure parents that their children would not be asked to join in with songs that contradict Islamic belief (eg Christmas carols or hymns) or perform music that could be considered to promote lust, seduction, unrestricted mixing and consumption of drugs, alcohol or other intoxicants”.

Khamenei to get knighted? Wouldn't surprise me much

Great cartoon! Gets closer to the truth than most would think. The so-called honorary degrees that Khatami got from the UK were essentially doing the same thing that C&F imply here...he got a formal thank you from his dearest supporters...
